LEGO Star Wars Motorized Walking AT-AT Review

Assembly: Challenging with 1,137 pieces
Durability: Fair
Overall Grade: A
Number: 10178

Fragile, handle with care. And you can do just that by carrying this model by the built in handle. At three booklets and 1,137 pieces, this LEGO set takes a while to put together. It is very cool to pop in the batteries and watch it go — albeit slowly across the room. Our cat can outrun it. I know AT-ATs are not known for their speed, but their durability. This one, however, you do have to be gentle with or the head just might fall off. No worries, it goes back on fairly easily. Perhaps the coolest feature here is the little rope coming out the bottom that Luke can hang onto just like at the beginning of Empire Strikes Back. This remains one of our son’s favorites. It’s always the first thing he hides when small children visit our home.
