Another new and original theme from LEGO. I realize Atlantis is not a new idea, but it is a new theme and it also does not have the added price the licensed products have. This line is especially cool with underwater creatures and divers. The set includes 3 mini figures — 2 heroic divers and 1 trident-equipped Squid Warrior. The giant squid that guards temple features snapping jaws and flailing tentacles. Our 8-year-old thinks the squid is very cool. He also thought the set was a snap to put together. Atlantis sets 8057 and 8058 are great addition to this set. Although the Shark Guardian in set 8058 does not stay together very well.
