Hey everyone. With Christmas right around the corner, our little guy is making out his Christmas list. Over this past weekend, we put up our tree and decorated it with Christmas tree ornaments that we have purchased over the years. We originally started with a set of Victorian ornaments but when we had our son, we figured we needed to get something a little more family ornamented. One day I saw a set of Peanuts ornaments and so we decided that we would make our tree a Snoopy tree. We bought a bunch of these ornaments the first year and over the past several years we have been adding to it. Now the tree if filled with Snoopy, Woodstock and the rest of the gang.
In addition to the Snoopy ornaments, over the last several years we have also been buying a personalized ornament from the mall that list our family names and the year we bought it. This year, my son and I also bought some crystal ornaments as a present to mom and added them as well as some handmade Christmas ornaments.
Kids love Christmas. Let your kids help pick out decorations and help put them up. We always put our tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving to get in the spirit of the holidays. Don’t be a scrooge, make the holiday time fun and exciting for your children by having fun with them. Happy holidays to all!
