If there were any kind of lamps that kids love more than any other, it’s touch lamps. The only thing that comes close are lamps that you can turn on and off with the clapper. Those are fun too. On and off…on and off. When I’ve seen kids playing with these things it’s hilarious. It’s a good lamp for a kids room as well because of it being a fun item in the bedroom. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you how they work. But anything you can do to make their room fun, kids will love. When it comes to these lamps, I am not sure if they make them with certain themes likes pirates or anything of that sort but if they don’t they should.
Kids like also like touch lamps instead of regular wall switches because everyone knows that the wall switches are extremely heavy. If you are a kid, you know that any kid of activity that requires any kind of effort, know matter how small can hurt your fragile body, especially heavy wall switches..lol.
Kid also love lava lamps. Our son has one of those in his room and we turn it on at night for a little while when he goes to sleep. Spend some time in your kids and ask them what kind of lights they would like. I know that when I was growing up, I decorated my own lamp shade. It’s their personal space. You might be surprised at how they would like to customize it.
