From $2 Tuesdays to carload day to the Indiana State Fair Value Coupon Book and everything in between, you’ll go home with a little extra cash left in your pocket. The last few years I’ve saved a bit by hitting one of the $2 Tuesdays. That’s a $6 savings off gate admission per person. If you can, arrive early so you can snag a free parking spot in the infield. Rides are also $2 on Tuesdays at the fair.

On each Tuesday of the Indiana State Fair, each visitor can enter the fair for just $2 by simply printing a voucher at turkeyhill.com/indianastatefair. Be sure to print a voucher for each member of your party.
$2 Taste of the State Fair
Also on each Tuesday of the fair concessionaires all over the fairgrounds will sell $2 size servings of favorite fair treats all day long. I like this because I can get more fun fair food for the money and the smaller portions mean fewer calories so I have room for more! Midway rides are also $2 from noon to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays during the fair.
Indianapolis Star Free Admission Day
Be sure to check out the Indianapolis Star for free Indiana State Fair tickets to the fair plus other surprises. The free ticket is valid for certain days. For 2011 those days are August 10 & 11.
Free Admission for State Employees
Do you work for the state? If so, enjoy free admission one select day during the fair. That day for 2011 is August 11.
Hoosier Lottery Day is Aug. 13.
Free Lottery Ticket
This may help you come home with extra cash in your hand! On Hoosier Lottery Day, August 13 for 2011, all guests 18 and older can redeem their state fair admission ticket stub for a FREE lottery ticket from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at either of the two Hoosier Lottery booths located at the Grandstand and Celebration Park.
IPL Carload Day
Large families and groups travelling to the 2011 Indiana State Fair together can save. On Monday, August 15, 2011, admission is $15 per vehicle up to 10 people with voucher printed from iplpower.com.
BMV Day
Fairgoers can save $4 off the $8 gate admission on August 17 by redeeming the voucher at mybmv.com.
AAA Day is August 18.
AAA Day
Hoosier AAA members will receive FREE admission on August 18, 2011, by showing their AAA membership card at the gate.
FREE Military Admission
Current and former members of the military and their families will be admitted free on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Military ID must be presented.
$2 Pepsi Can Discount
Just bring a Pepsi can on the last day of the fair, August 21, 2011, and receive $2 off gate admission.

FREE Infield Parking (when available)
Arrive early for FREE parking in the infield which is available on a first come first serve basis. Enter through Gate 1 off 38th Street, Gate 6 off Fall Creek Pkwy. or Gate 10 off 42nd Street.
Free State Fair Park & Ride
Just park at Glendale Mall’s Rural Street lot and ride the Indiana State Fair shuttle for FREE! The shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day of the fair.
Pedal & Park
Ride your bike to the fair and get $1 off gate admission. There are secured bike racks available on the Monon Trail at 38th Street. Bikers must enter through Gate 18 on the Monon.
